When obtaining mental health care cost is usually a consideration.  For clients wishing to use insurance, Dr. Minter is in-network for Medicare, Humana, Aetna, Coventry, MHNet, Cigna, Meridian, Tricare, United Healthcare (Optum), and other carriers.  If you have questions about insurance, please speak to Debbie at 813-704-4592.  

Individuals in other networks currently closed to new providers, such as Florida Blue, can still see Dr. Minter on an "out-of-network" basis. In those cases client pay for services out of pocket; the office will then issue a "superbill" which can be filed with the insurance company for reimbursement.  Clients are advised to consult their individual carrier to see if out-of-network mental health benefits are a part of their insurance coverage.

Some clients choose to pay out-of-pocket for psychological services.  Self-paying has several advantages, including maximum privacy and flexibility.   For clients who are self pay, Dr. Minter's fees are $180 for an initial assessment and treatment plan.  Psychological testing is billed at the rate of $180 per hour, and therapy sessions are charged at $165 per 50-minute session.
